The most important way you can give to our ministry is through prayer.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."

PRAYER CALENDAR

Monday - Pray for our BOCI staff here in Dallas as we continue to move forward in developing plans and furthering ministry in the various countries. Pray for unity and wisdom as plans and decisions are being made on behalf of the orphaned children.


Tuesday - Pray for our BOCI staff internationally in Russia, Romania, China, Kenya, Guatemala and Bulgaria. Pray for strong communication and teamwork as the ministry in the coming year unfolds.


Wednesdy - Pray for the leadership of Buckner overall - the governing board of trustees and our CEO and COO and VPs who strive to make Buckner an effective ministry in so many ways. Pray that they will continue to be men and women on their knees, in full dependence on the Lord and not to rely on man's opinion or strength or wisdom.


Thursday - Pray for the volunteers in our ministry - especially the ones who come and serve for the SOS shoe drives here locally and in various malls across the country. Praise the Lord with us for the thousands of man hours that they pour out in order to make the shoe drive a success. Pray for stamina, increased help at the malls and the warehouse, and sweet fellowship as they work.


Friday - Pray for the trip participants who are planning to travel to various countries with us this fall and winter for the Shoe Drive Mission trips. Pray for the Lord to select His teams, for team unity, for spiritual readiness and boldness as they share God's love to the children.


Saturday - Pray for our Missions staff as they gear up for a busy fall and winter with team preparation - orientations, training, packing, sorting shoes, and handling a myriad of details to make the mission experience an effective experience for all.


Sunday - Pray for the Lord to lavish His love and guard the hearts of the children in the countries we serve. Pray for His peace to reside within the orphanage walls and for the name of Christ to be proclaimed each week.
