It is imperative that children live in the best possible environment.
The type of living environment you provide for a child is a reflection
of how much they are valued and loved. Understandably, many of
the local governments do not have the money to improve the facilities
where orphan children reside. This is the reason Buckner assesses
the needs of orphanages around the world and makes improvements
or provides new construction. We have taken experienced construction
teams and volunteers to mend baby beds, paint walls, build play
areas, and improve showers and toilets. Buckner has put in heating
systems, washers and dryers and developmental play areas for children.
There is no greater joy than seeing a child play on a playground
for the first time or be able to live in a safe and clean environment.
